In addition, you must meet at least one of the following: you have worked or have a job contract, you have family in Spain (children enrolled in school, ascendants), or you are in a situation of vulnerability. If you are in an irregular situation, it is presumed that you meet the vulnerability requirement.

Yes. Once your application is admitted for processing, you receive a provisional authorization to reside and work both as an employee and as self-employed, in any sector and throughout Spain. This authorization remains valid until your case is resolved.
When you submit your regularization application, the deportation process and its execution are automatically suspended. If your regularization is approved, the deportation order is filed and revoked.
If you request the certificate and more than one month passes without receiving it, the Government can request it directly. If it still does not arrive, you can submit a sworn statement declaring that you have no criminal record.
The initial authorization is valid for 1 year and includes the right to reside and work as an employee or self-employed. Afterwards, you can renew or modify your status using the standard channels of the Immigration Regulations.
Their regularization is processed at the same time as yours. Children who are enrolled in school or have a disability can obtain authorization alongside you, without needing to prove financial means or a prior 2-year period of stay.
Do you meet the requirements? Act before June 2026
The window is limited. If you arrived in Spain before December 31, 2025, this could be your opportunity. Do not let it pass.
